As the Technical Lead for Project Gazelle, I oversaw the development of both frontend and backend systems, enhancing Gazelle's online presence to match its esteemed reputation. Leading a skilled team, we crafted intuitive interfaces and optimized backend architecture, propelling Gazelle to the forefront of online retail in the cycling industry.

As a frontend developer, I was responsible for the majority of the development (frontend) of a new e-commerce platform for JustEat TakeAway's B2B partner services. The platform was built from scratch and integrated data from multiple sources including Prismic.js and Commercetools and Optimizely. I placed a strong emphasis on accessibility and achieved AA+ WCAG standards in the design. The technology utilized in the development included Nuxt.js with TypeScript and a Node.js backend. This new platform has been designed to cater to various customer roles and has plans for a multi-country roll-out.

I collaborated with a Front-end developer and was responsible for the development of the Waterbeheerprogramma (WBP) for the Amsterdam Water Board. This website, which is an instrument under the new Environmental Rules set by the government, outlines the approach and measures necessary to effectively showcase the management of water tasks over the next six years. I worked with another Frontender to ensure the website was accessible to all users, meeting AA standards of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG). In just a two-month period, we built the website from scratch, focusing on the visual experience and accessibility to create a user-friendly solution.

As a frontend developer for the municipality of Amsterdam, I made a significant contribution to the development of various applications for Waternet.nl using Vue.js. These applications offered an easy and efficient way for users to manage their drinking water and water board taxes online, including viewing and paying bills, and checking for nearby outages. I was dedicated to the business and actively involved in the SCRUM process, working collaboratively with a diverse team of QA, BA, Design and UX, Product Owner, and other developers to deliver innovative solutions. My involvement helped to modernize and upgrade existing applications and ensure accessibility to AA standards (WCAG), resulting in improved user experience for the end-users. Projects I was part of included enrollment and cancellation of drinking water and management of the tax environment.

Worked on various pages and frontend components for BPD (formerly Bouwfonds), a pioneering company in offering digital home purchasing opportunities. Assisted in the development of the homepage, wishlist, and other pages, as well as implementing subscribe functionalities for an enhanced user experience.

Developed a PHP-based Wordpress website for Damborg, a company specializing in real estate investments and renovations in cities such as Amsterdam, Den Haag, Eindhoven, Groningen, Rotterdam, and Utrecht. Built a flexible website structure that enables content managers to create pages in a variety of ways.

Developed the front-end of a sharing app, "Slinger BV," that allows users to share empty seats with friends, colleagues, or festival mates for extra cash, a better environment, or just for fun. The focus of the project was on the front-end development using Ionic and Vue.js.

Developed a mobile application for IOS/Android using Ionic/Vue.js, set up the front-end part of the application, and created a real-time application with real-time graphs using D3.js. Implemented scrollable and snappable graphs and utilized Capacitor to access native plugins such as camera, barcode scanner, and push notifications. The app provides real-time insights into energy consumption and enables comparison with similar households, as well as monitoring of solar panel performance.

Sneaker District, a sneaker store founded in 2010 with locations in Amsterdam and Antwerpen. Developed pixel-perfect and reusable custom Vue components with native functionality. I also migrated the full application from PhoneGap to Ionic framework and made several changes to the mobile application.
